The Dakota Knowledge Center is located in Mound City, South Dakota. Founded by Scientologist Lorrie Lee Olson, its purpose is to supply the knowledge necessary to usher in a Golden Age for humanity. The center harbors a bookstore, small lecture area, a library and study area where one can read books or listen to taped lectures.

Lorrie Lee is trained in both Dianetics and Scientology technologies. She has been a Volunteer Minister for over 20 years and is the Churches of Scientology Disaster Response Director for both North and South Dakota and holds active membership in the Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster for both states. She is a First Responder and Volunteer Firefighter and owns several businesses BOOKS USED GENTLY, an online store, GEORGE'S FAMOUS CHEESE BUTTONS , a restaurant and bakery and CALICO'S LODGE in Mound City, South Dakota--THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE.
